Service Technician

DESCRIPTION
As a Service Technician on our Team, you will be the face of Color Art with daily opportunities to elevate our client experience. Your knowledge and professionalism instill confidence in both internal and external Clients, building relationships for years to come. This is a highly visible role for a tech-savvy mechanically-inclined problem solver. You will spend half of your day in the office preparing quotes, filing warranty claims and scheduling repairs and the other half in the field performing hands-on maintenance and repairs. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
• Ensure our clients are thrilled with their Color Art experience
• Provide timely and efficient results while taking great care of Client product
• Take ownership of how your role impacts the safety, quality and profitability of the Division and the Company

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process quotes, purchase orders, schedules and service tickets using Hedberg and HubSpot
• Accurately diagnose, repair, restore and maintain furniture
• Identify opportunities to expand service to customers
• Perform other duties as needed

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Professional communicator
• Able to pivot quickly with shifting demands
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrate good judgement and effective problem solving
• Mechanical aptitude
• The ability to perform physical work under varied circumstances
• The ability to thrive in a hybrid office/field role

EXPERIENCE
• Furniture service, repair or assembly experience
• Learning / adapting to new software

EDUCATION
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

COMPENSATION
• Based on experience
