Sales Assistant

Position Overview

Seeking an Inside Salesperson to work with 2 Senior Account Managers, on 2 large healthcare accounts. The primary responsibility is to provide support and back up to the salespeople by serving as a customer service representative with customers, as an intermediary between sales and other internal departments and outside vendors.  High energy, extreme organizational skills, desire to exceed sales goals, positive attitude and excellent people skills are required. This position will manage/own internal sales processes through delivery/installation, ensuring an exceptional customer experience on all orders. You will report to the Vice President of Healthcare.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Work with the SAM to grow share of wallet.
  • Be in the office, first line of contact.
  • Learn/master the following:   Hedberg, the different Healthcare manufacturers (products & discounts) and GPO's.
  • Generate clean specs.
  • Be comfortable quoting pricing to clients (budget or formal).
  • Prepare cover sheets, high level budgets, client sign off sheets for SAM.

 

 

  • Lead all aspects of the internal sales process, while calling upon other Color Art resources to assist in solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation. Then, effectively manage those engagements.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to the implementation team. May be called upon as a conduit concerning shipment information/installation and other relevant issues.
  • Manage order status reports log on weekly reports, pre-schedule deliveries, coordinate with PM, installation and client. Keep all informed of dates, raise flags when necessary.

  • Meet or exceed defined expectations for profitability.
  • Maintain a high level of internal "customer" satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as evidenced by the Customer Satisfaction Survey.
  • Complete required training and development objectives within a defined time frame.
  • Manage and limit furniture specification errors to a specified goal as a percentage of sales.
  • Able to present information in one-on-one or small group situations.
  • Attend all mandatory sales meetings.

Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies including Hedberg Business system.
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability.
  • Outgoing, excellent communicator (written & verbal), possess good marketing skills, has strong technology skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point) Blue Beam, Smart Sheet, competitive, hard worker.
  • Strong organization, account management, and presentation skills.
  • Sense of urgency, high level of energy and tenacity. Able to set and meet expectations.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, work well in a group problem solving,
  • Responds promptly, meets commitments, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, reacts well under pressure, works quickly and always strives to increase productivity.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Able to work in a usually moderate noise level, and high visual distractions.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and business ethics.

Education

  • Two or Four year college degree.

Compensation

  • Salary is based on experience and performance.
  • Eligible for a monthly commission between 6-12 months.
