DESCRIPTION
Color Art Project Managers are highly organized multi-taskers who are passionate about the Client Experience. They are assertive yet accommodating, and stay focused on minimizing Client disruptions and downtime. To excel in this role, you should be results-oriented, an effective and proactive communicator, and be able to think critically and creatively to solve problems. You balance your time between the office and field and are comfortable and confident with Clients, Sub-Contractors, and Installers. You drive project schedules, align resources, manage client expectations, and respond quickly to opportunities for new business.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
- Ensure an exceptional experience for ALL clients
- Enforce a culture of safety and quality
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously always meeting or beating budget and schedule
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the needs and priorities of stakeholders
- Communicate status with clients daily, weekly, by phase, or as predicated by project
- Own the complete project (Project types include: Furniture Installations; Office and Personnel Moves; Systems Reconfigurations; Inventories & Asset Management, Artwork and Signage Installation)
- Create and enforce project schedules, phasing plans, and move timelines
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients during all stages of a project
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent organizational and time management/prioritization skills while managing multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision
- Understand how budget, profit, and labor estimates fit into the project management process
- Identify creative solutions and problem-solving capabilities to meet client objectives
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills in managing installation crews and handling onsite challenges
- Desire to build lasting relationships with clients and grow the division
EXPERIENCE
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Sheets preferred
- Mastery of scheduling software and/or concepts
- Experience with AutoCAD, CET, or other drawing/design software preferred
- Blueprint reading
EDUCATION
- Degree or Certificate in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
