DESCRIPTION:   Senior Level Designer with a minimum of 5 years of Healthcare experience in design and product application. This person will report to the Vice President of Healthcare. There are two primary responsibilities for this position. The first is to lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Healthcare Design team in support of the Sales Team. Second, this Director will handle all design aspects of client project work.

RESPONSIBILITY DETAIL:

  • Manage the day-to-day workload of the CAH Design Team that directly impacts the growth of CAH's revenue and net profit.
  • Motivate, mentor & coach the Team.
  • Identify resource needs for Team, ie. staffing, technology.
  • Involved in recruiting and hiring (with VP's Healthcare & Design) and onboarding process for new Designers.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Design on all technology/software training/issues.
  • Manage and improve our HC CET integration.
  • Update and maintain Color Art Health Showroom.
  • Estimated 40-50% of time spent on project work. Minimal Client travel may be needed.
  • Involved in development of annual Team goals.
  • Build strong, multiple level client relationships.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Must be outgoing, energetic and able to work well with clients.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have leadership skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Self-starter with a high level of responsiveness and adaptability.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others to accomplish team goals.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be results oriented and accountable.

DESIGN EXPERIENCE:

  • AutoCAD, CAP, CET Designer, Revit, Blue Beam
  • Must be able to work and run a design project from beginning to end Dealer experience preferred.
  • Must be able to deliver knowledge-based expertise and consulting that adds value, and separates Color Art Health as a market leader and solution provider.

EDUCATION:

  • Degree in Interior Design
