DESCRIPTION

As a Facilities Technician at Color Art, you'll have the opportunity to elevate our client experience on a daily basis. Multi-tasking, attention to detail and maintaining high standards for our indoor and outdoor space will be critical to your success in this role. You are a jack-of-all-trades and a high-energy team-player who takes great pride in your work. This is a highly-visible position that greatly impacts both internal and external customers.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

• Ensure a WOW! experience from the moment a client enters our space
• Maintain a clean, fresh and well organized space at all times
• Take ownership of how your role impacts the safety, quality and profitability of Color Art

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete janitorial responsibility for 40,000 SF office and 60,000 SF warehouse
• Landscaping (mowing, trimming, maintaining flower beds, etc.)
• Set-up spaces for meetings and special events
• Routine building maintenance (basic plumbing, changing lightbulbs, etc.)
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to perform basic general maintenance (light carpentry, painting, plumbing)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Critical-thinking and problem solving
• Able to pivot quickly with shifting demands
• Basic computer skills necessary (Outlook/e-mail)

EXPERIENCE

• Janitorial and lawn care experience in a commercial, healthcare or education environment
• Experience with floor scrubber, carpet cleaner, basic lawn equipment and basic hand tools
• Class E Chauffer's License (preferred but not required)

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
