Art Designer

DESCRIPTION:
As an Art Designer at Color Art, you'll be involved in creative processes daily. Our ideal candidate has a passion for art, an innovative and creative mindset, enjoys people, is knowledgeable in design and application and is focused and organized.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

Design art proposals and visual concepts in Healthcare, Corporate, and Education environments
Provide knowledge in Art and Design and be a reliable, trustworthy resource for clients
Complete well-designed, innovative art packages based on client budget, schedule and vision

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Time- manage multiple projects while collaborating with Art Consultant on objectives and progress.
Partner with Art Consultant in meetings and effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
Communicate professionally and effectively with clients during all stages of a project.
Work directly with clients in presenting design solutions while understanding our sales goals.
Availability and willingness to travel for client meetings or art installations out of town, as needed.
Administrative coordination including scheduling, follow-up and order verification and tracking.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work closely with Art Consultant and Color art Facility Service toward common goals
Excellent organizational and time management skills while managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
High taste level preferred with an understanding of Color Theory
Identify design solutions and problem-solving capabilities to meet client objectives
Strong leadership skills in managing installation crews and handling onsite design challenges
Desire to build lasting relationships with clients and work with the Art Consultant to grow the division

EXPERIENCE:

2-4 years of experience in a professional office or design environment, preferred
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign used to design art into architectural floor plans and renderings
Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Sheets preferred

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Art, Interior Design or art-related field
